The U.S. Chamber of Commerce will begin offering $5,000.00 Grants to Small business owners today.  The application will go live at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

To be eligible your business must employ between 3 and 20 people,  you must be located in an economically vulnerable community and have been harmed financially from the COVID-19 pandemic.  We have entered local zip-codes into the eligibility finder and Auburn, New York and surrounding areas qualify. 

The application should take about 10 minutes to complete. You will need  your business' W-9 form. Grants will be awarded on a weekly basis, you only need to apply once.  

This grant money comes at a crucial time for small business who did not receive the economic injury grant or funds from the paycheck protection program before funds ran out.  As of today, April 20, 2020 funds for those two stimulus programs have been depleted.  

Do not delay your application. The grants will be distributed on a rolling basis, but as we saw with the other programs funds are first come first serve and may be depleted quickly.
